Ms. Aurianne Ricquier
Aurianne is the Circular Fashion Programme Director for Redress, an environmental charity working to reduce waste in the fashion industry. Her team works hard to reduce post-consumer textile waste by increasing the reuse, resale, and recycling of clothing locally. Joining Redress after having led a Hong Kong-based NGO working on youth education, Aurianne believes in the power of education to change minds and drive positive change in society. She also spent eight years managing fashion supply chain operations in Europe and Asia, through which she became acutely aware of the fashion industry’s environmental and social issues and determined to change the way clothes are made and consumed.
Sustainability Tips from Aurianne:
1. I've enjoyed letting my friends discover how great vegetarian food can be.
2. Before the end of the year, I want to look into investing my savings to support projects within the circular economy.
