Ms. Karen Du

Karen Du joined Impact Hub Shanghai as a partner in 2020, and in the same year, she founded R.I.S.E. Sustainable Consumption Innovation Platform, which aims to provide systematic solutions for the consumer industry and ecosystem, such as sustainable integrated marketing, sustainable consumption value chain innovation consulting and incubation for sustainable consumption innovation enterprises. Then, this raises the awareness of sustainable development among the relevant parties in the consumer value chain, stimulates more cross-border cooperation between the upstream and downstream of the value chain, validates and promotes more key technologies and business models for the transformation of the value chain, so as to "work together to build a more sustainable world with a more responsible consumer value chain".

Karen Du has rich experience in sustainable development and brand management in the cosmetics and fashion industries, and is committed to achieving the co-creation of business and social values. She has reached in-depth cooperation with the United Nations and other domestic and international organizations on sustainable development projects for many years. She has served as an observer at the United Nations Climate Change Conference, a member of the Sustainable Development Committee of AmCham Shanghai, and has been selected as JINGAN High Potential+ Plan, 2020 "Fashion 100+" Fashion New Personality, and TED Official Chinese Speaker of the Year.
