Mr. Derek Wu

Derek works as the Lead Consultant APAC at AXA Climate to bring AXA’s risk expertise into the topics of climate and nature and advise corporates, financial institutions and non-profits in the APAC region. At AXA Climate, our mission is to enable climate-resilient and regenerative businesses. Derek has supported clients to navigate the increasing scrutiny and uncertainty posed by climate change, including climate and nature risk assessments and due diligences, net-zero and biodiversity strategy development and ESG training and engagements. He is also experienced in working with various sectors across APAC to advise on strategy, risk and disclosure aspects across the ESG spectrum. Prior to AXA Climate, Derek worked at a global sustainability strategy and insights consultancy advising board and management teams on regional ESG trends and opportunities. He has an environmental management background and is based in Hong Kong.
